ALNAP believes that learning is crucial to improving outcomes for people affected by crisis. In this interactive session, we invite you to:
- explore the importance of learning in humanitarian action from the genocide in Rwanda to the climate-related disasters in South Asia today,
- think about how you can incorporate learning as you move through your career,
- and understand what resources are available to you
We’ll screen a short documentary film to illustrate how learning has led to positive change over the past 25 years and how you, as a future leader within the humanitarian system, can contribute to that endeavor. The film will be followed by Q&A and open discussion with members of the ALNAP team.
