This report presents the findings of an independent evaluation of the Capacity for Disaster Reduction Initiative (CADRI), a five-year project designed and implemented collectively by the United Nations Development Programme1 (UNDP), the UN Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs2 (UNOCHA) and the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction3 (UNISDR). The evaluation was conducted in August-November 2012, which was the last year of the project. This evaluation was commissioned to provide recommendations to inform management decisions regarding CADRI’s new implementation phase (2013-15).
