Humanitarian needs are exploding, and our response capacity is stretched to its limit, so we cannot continue with business as usual. We need transformative changes to the way aid is funded and delivered. The Grand Bargain remains a unique tool at our disposal to help us do just that – to help us do a better job at serving people in need. For the fifth year, ODI has taken stock of our collective and individual progress to make aid more effective and efficient and keep us accountable for realising the commitments we signed up to. I sincerely thank ODI for their analysis and important recommendations, which we will need to take very seriously.
