During the 2026–2028 work period, ALNAP will continue to strive for the benefit of the sector's collective experience, knowledge, and learning.
This workplan aligns with the first phase of ALNAP’s new strategic period (2026–2030). Central to our approach is the insight that the current barriers to learning-driven improvements in performance are:
- inequitable access to learning- and knowledge-sharing opportunities and resources across the sector
- the inability of individuals and organisations to navigate and make sense of the learning, knowledge and analysis that now exists
- the inability of individuals, teams and the wider sector to utilise existing learning to affect change
- critical gaps in sector-wide evidence and analysis that hamper more informed and effective policy and practice.
- so that the international humanitarian system is better able to assist and protect those most vulnerable during crises by providing principled assistance.
