The reason for producing the book (and the earlier pack) is to provide a single volume which discusses the most well-known gender analysis frameworks for development research and planning, with commentaries from users of each framework. The commentaries are based primarily on the experience of Oxfam staff members throughout the world, and their colleagues and associates in gender training networks and academic establishments.
