This review was carried out in October and November 2009 to assess the 2007 earthquake response in Peru and to identify key lessons and recommendations to inform future responses. The 2007 earthquake affected thousands of families in the southern coastal and highland regions of Peru. The methodology of the evaluation consisted of 13 participatory consultations at which participants were asked to identify what the most significant changes had been as a result of the intervention.
