Educational Counseling to Syrians in Turkey
In order to determine situation of accessing the education and raise families’ awareness accordingly, educational survey has been conducted targeting beneficiaries who would like to register Urfa Community Center’s psychosocial and livelihood activities and language courses. The main aim of conducting this survey was to identify whether Syrian children are able to access education and if not, to learn their reason. Responses of two main questions were researched:
- Do Syrians benefit from educational opportunities and services in Turkey?
- What are the barriers to access education for Syrians?
The survey period and the data presented in this report were conducted and collected between the dates of 01-16th November 2015.
