Agroecology: Summary of relevant experiences

This report introduces “agroecology”, bridging theory and field experience to frame CESVI’s work on resilient food systems and sustainable, community-led development. Drawing on projects worldwide, it shows how this approach informs CESVI’s response to climate and food challenges.

The document looks at CESVI experience in rural development, with a focus on value chain, food security and food systems development in light of the agroecological approach and provides a roadmap for the organization's future actions in the agroecological field. The main purpose of the study is to consolidate CESVI's historical memory of its work highlighting the consistency of its approach and providing a tool that can be used both within the organization and as a basis for further documents to be developed for positioning and fundraising.
