Article - How “de-biasing” humanitarian organizations could lead to more gender-equitable programming during COVID-19 and beyond

An online article in 'Medium' that looks at the gendered impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and response measures - evidence from previous infectious disease outbreaks demonstrates that underlying gender inequalities are exacerbated during crises (e.g. increased violence against women, reduced access to gender-based violence services and primary health care) and the early evidence about COVID-19 suggests similar situations are developing across the globe.
