ALNAP Study
This report aims to provide evidence of ‘what works’ in terms of operational leadership – i.e. in terms of the formulation of vision and the development and implementation of strategy. In considering what contributes to effective operational leadership, we have explicitly considered the roles of the individual leader, the ‘leadership team’ – the senior managers around the leader – and the organisational structures and procedures.
