This report presents the key insights and findings from a Comparative review of the First Aid App commissioned by the Global Disaster Preparedness Center (GDPC). The study was led by Trilateral Research (TRI), with support from Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems (FOKUS), Utah State University (USU) and the Asian Disaster Preparedness Centre (ADPC). The project began in September 2015, with the aim of understanding the impact of the host organization, i.e., the National Society, on the rollout and uptake of the First Aid App, developed under the Universal App Program.
