The main objective of this operational research is to allow the actors involved in the project to take internally displaced people into account more in planning water services. In order to do this, it was necessary to improve understanding of the different social representations that actors have of displaced people, to describe the impact of their presence and to plan water services in the areas where Nex’Eau is being implemented, based on context-specific solutions.
