This is a background paper for the learning review of WSP’s technical assistance (TA) program in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). The paper i) summarizes WSP’s work in previously FCAS ii) sets out the current approach to re-engaging in FCAS iii) outlinesthe scope and scale of the TA iv)relates emerging learning on delivering WASH in FCAS, and v) takes stock of the influence WSP is having on the quality and quantity of sector finance in FCAS.
