The purpose of the evaluation is to obtain the necessary information to allow ECHO to decide strategies and improve any future action in Sierra Leone, especially the future 2002 intervention plan. The evaluation team was composed of three consultants, each of them having the responsibility to focus on a specific sector : (1) health, nutrition, water and sanitation, (2) child protection, (3) uprooted populations. The present report will provide a synthesis of the three individual reports which have been presented to ECHO for each sector.
