Objectives: The evaluation of WFP’s emergency response to the crisis in Niger is undertaken for accountability and learning purposes. Five years ago, Niger faced a serious crisis, the response to which was evaluated. This evaluation will address three questions: What was the operation’s strategy to address the crisis? What were the results of the operation? What has led to these results, and what can be learned from that? It also aims to generate insights into the differences between the 2005 and 2010 responses.
