In 2008, Al Omran has launched an evaluation study and social and economic impact of program operations "Cities Without Slums" to support the elimination of inadequate housing program and slums. This programme involved nearly 11,000 households in five cities and nine areas. The impact assessment was used to assess, in addition to the performance of the operation, the dynamic change experienced by the people involved in the programme and the contribution of action to improve their living conditions.
