Evaluation of Niassa Food and Livelihood Security Programme in Mozambique

Er food livelihood security mozambique 010307 en png

The Food and Livelihood Security programme in southern Niassa supported about 7000 rural and poor farmer families to improve their productivity of food and cash crops, diversify crops and market access, build the capacity of farmers' organisations, and influence decision makers through advocacy work and popular campaigning at local and national levels. The final evaluation asks whether farmers are now earning a higher income and how far they have gained more influence on the way they produce agricultural products. It also assesses the programme's planning process and ways of working with partners, beneficiaries and other stakeholders.
