The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA) commissioned an evaluation to review the current status of the Common Humanitarian Funds (CHFs), which presently operate in six countries with large protracted humanitarian operations. Separate country-level reports have been issued in parallel with this synthesis report for the five countries visited as part of the evaluation: Central African Republic (CAR), Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Somalia, South Sudan and Sudan.
