Evaluation of the Gaza Flood Response, Mozambique

In late January-beginning of February 2013 torrential rains in Mozambique and in the region led to massive flooding along main river basins in the southern and central regions of Mozambique, causing severe damages to houses as well as to infrastructure and crops. Official data reported some 240,000 persons affected and 118 deaths across the country, with consequent massive displacement of population.1 A RTE was commissioned to support the response, assess the responses timeliness, and build learnings for future humanitarian leadership.
