The report presents the results of the evaluation of the CIDA-funded ACF “Saving lives and protecting livelihoods in arid and semi-arid areas of Kenya” programme which was implemented from August 2011 to August 2012. The evaluation’s main objectives were to assess effectiveness and efficiency of the response, especially in relation to the integration of Nutrition and WaSH components, and to draw lessons learnt for improvement. This CIDA project was part of the larger Horn of Africa drought response in 2011.
