The objective of this external evaluation of ACF's "Comprehensive Livelihoods Intervention in Ashtarlay District, Daykundi Province in Afghanistan" (2010-2014) was to assess the project in line with its objectives, results and indicators as outlined in the logical framework, taking into account the challenges encountered and the solutions found. It also aimed to draw lessons and provide recommendations for future similar programmes. The methodology of the consultancy encompassed a string of Projects’ documents reviewing, field visits, teams’ consultations as well as Project’s beneficiaries and local stakeholders’ interviews. The evaluation purpose was pursued through a participatory qualitative assessment.
