ACF is contributing to the improvement of the nutritional status of crisis-affected populations and vulnerable populations in Yemen by addressing the elevated prevalence of acute malnutrition (wasting) through an integrated set of interventions covering nutrition, WASH, and food security and livelihoods strengthening with the general objective of reducing the incidence of wasting and risks of morbidity and mortality associated with wasting in vulnerable populations in Yemen. The ACF Yemen programme operates in the contextual constraints of political reform, recurrent conflicts and the economic and security threats this poses to both the organisation’s activities and the communities it works with. This evaluation assessed the impact, coherence, relevance/appropriateness, effectiveness and efficiency of the project implemented in Hajjah and Hodeida governorates, Yemen. Also, it provides operational and strategic recommendations for the implementation in the next phases of projects and for ACF Yemen programming more generally.
