No rainfall received in the month in all the livelihoods

The current average vegetation condition index for the county is 32.87 which is below the threshold of >35

Water sources currently in use are boreholes, River Tana, spring, and few water pans

Socio Economic Indicators (Impact Indicators)

The body condition of livestock currently ranges between good and fair for all species with a score of 3-4.

Milk production was recorded at 23.4litres which is below the normal of 36 litres.

There are normal livestock migration patterns in the county.

The terms of trade for the month deteroritated when compared with the previous month and is currently traded at the ratio of 1:60.09 which is still favourable to the pastoralist.

The return distance to water sources had decreased and recorded at 5km

The MUAC levels for at risk to malnutrition increased to18.4% which is above the threshold of 13.4%
