This evaluation was commissioned by the Global WASH Cluster (GWC) coordinator and ACF-UK as lead for learning and evaluation in consultation with the GWC Strategic Advisory Group (SAG). It seeks to generate credible evidence of results achieved or not achieved by the cluster’s Field Support Team (FST) in support of national WASH coordination.
The GWC provides strong value for money through its support to national coordination platforms based on analysis of cost, quality and speed. While 48% of total FST time recorded was spent on emergency deployments, significant time was also dedicated to remote, regional and global support for preparedness and capacity building.
