Tearfund's Operational Programme Team is in Haiti in response to the earthquake that struck the southern part of the country on 12 January 2010.
Tearfund's direct relief operation is located in the Léogâne and Gressier area, close to the epicentre of the earthquake. The project area covers both the coastal lowland and more remote communities in the mountains surrounding Léogâne.
