This report provides recommendations for improving design and implementation of projects on social stability and healthcare provision. It draws together best practices and lessons learned from the project, 'Access to healthcare as a tool for preventing tensions', implemented by International Alert and Amel Association International between February 2016 and January 2018, with the financial support of Agence Francaise de Développement. The aim of this report is to inform the future work of Amel and Alert, and to provide healthcare providers with examples of tangible practices of adapting their services and activities to help strengthen social stability.
