An ethics-based perspective for impact initiatives
This NCHS paper uses ethical thinking to propose a new approach to humanitarian need. It offers a personal opinion on how humanitarians might simplify and prioritise need at a critical time of changing emergency across the globe. The ideas and recommendations presented are intended as an independent academic contribution to policy discussions about need in the humanitarian sector that are urgently required today as climate emergency intensifies and the risk of global war haunts contemporary geopolitics.
