Although global violence has been decreasing, the rate of urban violence is accelerating. In crowded cities, particularly in the global south, this violence is compounded by weak governance and overstretched infrastructure. In this TedTalk, Robert Muggah discusses the changing geography of violence, and how fragile cities are in need of our undivided attention. How can we protect fast-growing cities?
