This project in south Lebanon was set up in a context of post-war rehabilitation and development efforts. It concentrated on three poorer cazas in South Lebanon, and focused on key economic sectors so as to improve the social and economic situation of vulnerable families in a sustainable way. The strategy was to improve agricultural practices as well as the management of water resources. The final evaluation of this project was to assess its impact on the economic security of the targeted beneficiaries, and to tease out lessons to be incorporated in future project designs.
