A brief section highlights Concern’s emergency cash transfer response to an increase in food insecurity for one Nairobi informal settlement (Korogocho). The detection and response verified many of the underlying assumptions of slow-onset urban emergencies. The final section documents the road forward for the initiative and next steps.
