The Information Management Toolkit was created by UNHCR to provide guidance to field support through the Field Information and Coordination Support Section. The toolbox covers a range of topics, including coordination, population, minimum sectoral data, and mapping & data visualization.
The guidance from the toolkit can also be seen in practice in the UNHCR Operational Data Portal (available here), which provides an information and data sharing platform to facilitate coordination of refugee emergencies.
