This year’s World Urban Forum VI brought together leading urban experts and practitioners from all over the world to Naples, Italy. A South-South knowledge exchange at the event focused on innovative e-learning approaches to cities’ capacity development. Sharing successful experiences in e-learning benefited those who want to achieve similar scale and impact. A South-South network of WBI’s e-Institute partners to facilitate mutual learning was established during the event. We spoke with several participants to get their perspectives.
WBI: A number of other institutions are starting to use e-learning to scale up capacity building in the urban sector. Given the experience of your institution, what are some of the key lessons that you would like to share with them? How do you think the new network will add value to your institution?
