This report covers four main areas: (1) current role and results of the SGP: effectiveness in achieving global environmental benefits while addressing livelihoods, poverty, and gender; (2) broader adoption issues; (3) the SGP’s strategic positioning; and (4) efficiency issues, including monitoring and evaluation (M&E). Particular attention was given to the upgrading of SGP country programs and related policies.
