The ALNAP Review of Humanitarian Action1 series aims to advance understanding and practice to support improvement in the performance of humanitarian action. It provides an overview of current trends in humanitarian action through a synthesis of evaluation findings, as well as critical reflection on an area of particular concern – this year field level learning is addressed. It also provides a platform for sharing lessons, identifying common approaches, and building consensus on ways in which to improve learning and accountability.
