The objective of the report is to assess the extent to which the evaluation has been acknowledged in subsequent literature and official reports, and by key informants; to review developments in the different fields/sectors covered by the Joint Evaluation recommendations since publication in 1996; to ascertain the degree to which developments in the different sectors that the Joint Evaluation addressed are consistent or inconsistent with Joint Evaluation recommendations; to identify changes in policies or practices of the international community in response to the Joint Evaluation.
