This literature review contains a list of references to publications and case studies relevant to the shelter component of humanitarian response following disasters. Literature was selected from the Shelter Centre online databse that contained the terms ‘Coordination’, ‘Strategy’, ‘Assessment’ or, ‘Implementation’ in the title or abstract. The abstracts of these documents were then inspected to ascertain their relevance to humanitarian shelter responses.
