A Report for the United Nations Evaluation Group (UNEG) Task Force on National Evaluation Capacity Development
Practical tips on how to strengthen National Evaluation Systems aims to provide both technical and non-technical staff in the UN system with ideas on how to link to national evaluation capacity systems and on the role that UN Agencies could play to support their strengthening. It is not meant to be prescriptive but is intended to highlight key elements to consider when working on national evaluation capacity development (NECD). It draws from the NECD experiences of the last twenty-plus years, many, though not all of which, have been appropriately documented.
