The main purpose of this review is for the MFA to learn from and further develop the humanitarian assistance based on the concrete and operational experiences with the support to Haiti. The aim of the review is two-fold: 1. To document the first phase response of MFA to the earthquake disaster in Haiti. 2. To assess the response in light of previous Norwegian experiences with response to large natural disasters as documented in reviews and evaluations.
