A Training Manual Based on Experiences in the Middle East and North Africa
This manual provides guidelines on how to train community development workers and community members in participatory appraisal methods. Intended as a tool for community development activities, it is aimed primarily at NGOs but can be used by anyone who needs training in participatory research. The manual demonstrates how to organise and prepare a training course in participatory appraisal and how to help graduates put the tools they have learned into use, and includes examples and exercises.
