Dear colleagues,
Welcome to Phase 3 of the eDiscussion on Institutional and Context Analysis (ICA). Thank you for participating over these first two weeks. After looking at how the ICA or similar tools can be used to generate better results, the support needed for such interventions and the role of Headquarters and Regional Service Centres and Offices in supporting country level ICAs, in Phase I, Phase II looked more in detail at how the ICA can be used in countries in transition, particularly in the Arab States. A summary of all Phases will be disseminated at the end of Phase IV.
We are now entering the third week of the eDiscussion, and we would like to take a deeper look at ICA being applied at the sector level, particularly in governance and energy and the environment, while also discussing some of the challenges to be overcome when applying the ICA.
