What is ‘voluntary’ public support? This report is about ‘voluntary’ public support – funding given freely by individuals or organisations – to humanitarian need. As well as receiving voluntary contributions from the public, NGOs also receive ‘official’ funding from governments and other NGOs. This report compares these two sources of NGO income.
