We began a real-time evaluation of the response with an initial visit to the Roya, Tinée and Vésubie valleys, during which we met the mayors of Breil-sur-Roya and Saint-Martin-Vésubie, as well as some of the staff involved in the response.
This learning support mission in the Alpes-Maritimes region, after the extreme events caused by Storm Alex, will be followed up with a feedback session, and then by strategic reflection about the following steps and the issues at stake in the coming weeks and months.
