On January 31 and February 1, 2007, the Greater New York Red Cross chapter hosted representatives from the London Red Cross chapter, Madrid Red Cross chapter, ARC-National Headquarters, and others from the police, fire, OEM, 112-911 services. The subject was lessons learned from the three urban catastrophic incidents that occurred in New York, London and Madrid. The desired outcome of this meeting is that these lessons can be shared among all of the Red Cross National Societies and any other interested parties in order to improve disaster and humanitarian relief services in the future.
