This report summarizes the findings of 10 focus group discussions conducted with internally displaced persons (IDPs) and Syrian refugees at six different sites – in camps and urban settings – in northern Iraq. This is the second in a series of data-collection rounds looking at IDP and refugee perceptions of humanitarian assistance in northern Iraq under the Mixed Migration Platform (MMP). The discussion topics were designed by Ground Truth Solutions based on the findings of perceptual quantitative surveys conducted with IDPs and refugees at the same sites in March 2017. The aim is to delve deeper into the issues that surfaced in the survey. More background and information about the methodology can be found at the end of this report.
