In this session, Agnieszka Krol (PHD) from the Disability Studies in Eastern Europe- Reconfigurations discusses with Magda(lena) Szarota (PHD) , a human rights activist Disability Studies scholar, human rights activist, policy-related advocate and photographer, and has organised evacuations of Ukrainians, the current situation of refugees with disabilities and the types of assistance provided to and by them, using Ukrainian war refugees as a case study.

The starting point for this conversation is the research report titled "The Capacity of Polish and Romanian Stakeholders to Provide Support to Ukrainian Refugees with Disabilities in the Metropolitan Areas of Warsaw and Bucharest."
