A technical consultation workshop on Tracking Health Performance and Humanitarian Outcomes was organized by WHO on behalf of the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) in Geneva on 1-2 December 2005. This report1 highlights issues that emerged from the expert papers, presentations and discussions, and ways to address them. It concludes with proposals for next steps in the eventual implementation of a Health and Nutrition Tracking Service that will enable the assessment and monitoring of the severity of humanitarian crises and responses, on a consistent system-wide basis.
