The purpose of this Review is to document the humanitarian work of the Catholic Church in Sri Lanka in response to the long running civil conflict between the Government and the LTTE. The review aims to document both the successes and the struggles of the church in working on both sides of the conflict, to discuss its current programmes, and draw relevant conclusions .
