This research study provides an analysis and seven recommendations on how social media can be used in humanitarian response in the Asia Pacific region.

The research, which involved both a survey and in depth interviews with humanitarian organisations in the region, was prepared by the Nanyang Technical University from Singapore with support from the Global Disaster Preparedness Center and the American Red Cross.
