This study has sought: 1) to understand the disparity in perceptions, aspirations, and behaviour of refugees from Syria, members of host communities, and practitioners in Turkey, Jordan and Lebanon; and 2) to identify what measures, if any, are regarded as important by the three target communities for future return and reintegration in Syria when conditions permit. It involved multi-sited, 12-month qualitative and partici- patory research conducted between October 2014 and September 2015 in Turkey, Lebanon, and Jordan.
