This assessment of educational opportunities for Syrian university-age refugees and work opportunities for Syrian refugee academics was carried out by a multidisciplinary research team that included Arabic-speakers and experts on Syria. The methods included qualitative and quantitative research based on interviews with Syrian faculty and students in Jordan’s capital of Amman and at the massive refugee camp-city of Za‘atari near the Syrian border.
